Reading Words

Reading Words is an exploration of how people’s minds dance from thought to thought. Many of these fleeting thoughts are due to word association: as one sees words, her thoughts linger along. This video attempts to illustrate that lingering process with an everyday walk down the street.

I spent a lot of time reading about word association and determining how it worked in my own mind. I walked down Penn Ave. in the Strip District of Pittsburgh shooting video to further explore this idea.
