Bectran Apps

BectranApps is a company that provides a service that speeds up the credit
application process. The standard process for approving credit is cumbersome and time-consuming. Bectran provides an online solution that helps credit managers better track down missing information they need from customers to approve credit. Being a relatively new company, Bectran wanted to promote their service via a video sketch to let CFO’s better understand how Bectran’s solution will benefit them.

Design Process

Jeanette Leagh and I worked together as a team to create a compelling story for this service. We began our design process by interviewing a credit manager to get a sense of his daily work process and how the slow application process affects his efficiency. He also provided with a lot of information about the hierarchy of a company: CFO’s don’t necessarily know that struggles of a credit manager or how those struggles affect the bottom line, money.

From this interview we were able to come up with a relatively in depth understanding of the credit management process. From there, we were able to write a story and begin creating storyboards.
