Hello! It’s nice to have you stop by.

I’m Sarah. I’m a designer.
I am most happy when things are in order and make sense.
I’m never really satisfied with the current state; as most things have an opportunity to be better, more efficient, and more person-centric. Whether it be organizing a messy closet, fitting yoga into an otherwise chaotic schedule, or creating user-task flows to integrate design, technology, and user experience, I’m your lady.
I have a Master’s of Design in Communication Planning and Information Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s of Architecture from LSU.
My yellow lab puts the world into perspective for me and I live for warm sunny days, Ashtanga Yoga, the sweet sounds of Peter Simon, and trips to California.
I currently work for Zehnder Communications in New Orleans, LA and though my job title is Interaction and UX Designer, I can do so much more. I’m currently helping Zehnder expand our UX department and refine our methods for incorporating user research into our design process. In other words, I’m helping to create a standard way for the things we make to be more user-friendly. I. Love. My. Job.
Even though I’m super busy designing everything around me, I sometimes have time for freelance work. Feel free to send me a message.
In the meantime, check out a few samples of my work!
